The Andrel Eloho Okah Story

annie

Eloho Andrel Okah was a 19-year-old undergraduate of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko—full of promise, life, and dreams. On June 20, 2025, she went missing alongside her friend, Friday Abah. What followed was every parent’s worst nightmare.

For weeks, their whereabouts remained unknown. Then, a breakthrough: police investigations led to the arrest of Ojo Michael, who confessed to a horrifying crime. Eloho and her friend had been abducted, robbed, and held captive. Their betrayal was unimaginable—the mastermind was none other than Friday’s landlord, Oladele Femi, who orchestrated the attack with hired criminals.

During captivity, Eloho was raped. And in a moment of terrifying courage, she recognised one of her attackers and revealed his identity—hoping, perhaps, it would save them. Instead, it sealed their fate. To prevent exposure, both Eloho and Friday were murdered in cold blood. Their bodies were discarded in separate remote locations between Ondo and Ekiti States. Her remains were later recovered from a bush near Ode-Ekiti.

Eloho’s life was cut short not by accident, but by the deliberate cruelty of people she didn’t know. She died not only a victim of violence but of betrayal, silence, and broken trust.

But Eloho is more than what happened to her. She was a daughter, a friend, a student with a future filled with hope. Her memory will not be defined by violence, but by the love she gave, the dreams she held, and the light she left behind.

May her soul find peace. May justice never rest.
